Exploring the theater of change methodology

The Theater of Change is a methodology co-developed by the Broadway Advocacy Coalition and the Center for Institutional and Social Change at Columbia Law School. The process brings together directly impacted advocates, high-level artists, and law and policy students and experts to deepen connections and bridge gaps of disconnect and lack of understanding. Participants ultimately collaborate as equal partners to create arts-based performance pieces that have an engagement strategy to target specific areas and policies.
In this workshop, participants will learn about the methodology framework, explore the Theater of Change process through small group activities, and explore the impact of projects that have emerged from the methodology.
