#WORLDWITHOUTINCARCERATION: USING THE VISUAL ARTS TO REIMAGINE ABOLITIONIST SPACES

Saturday, April 17, Session 2

Workshop F: 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM PST

In this interactive workshop hosted by Art and Resistance Through Education (ARTE), participants will creatively explore the incarceration policy alternatives that currently exist at both the local and global levels. Participants will also come together to experience visionary art that challenges existing carceral structures. Lastly, workshop participants will engage in a short art-making activity to explore what an abolitionist future could look like and imagine a world without incarceration.
